‘축산물 대체식품` 개발은 50명 중 5명(92.9%)이 요구된다고 인식하였다. 다만 개발 시 이전에 없던 새로운 방법으로 만들어지는 식품이기 때문에 안전성을 최고로 우려하였다. 제일 먼저 고려할 사항 역시 안전성 검증 철자와 체계화된 안전 관리기준 마련을 뽑았다.
